These roles offer applicants an excellent chance to learn new skills and knowledge within the fire and security sector, including working with the latest technology in fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Successful applicants would receive full training on all of our range of products. This is conducted by way of manufactures and industry recognised training courses or using our dedicated product training facilities in house.

Successful applicants would be provided with a company vehicle plus fuel card, mobile phone, test equipment and power tools.

Essential skills & requirements:

Trainee Fire Alarm Engineer

Job Description:

  • Scheduled Inspection and maintenance of fire alarm systems to BS5839 or clients’ requirements:
  • Reporting to the Service Manager/Service Supervisor
  • Scheduled testing of emergency lighting systems, AOV’s and gas suppression systems in accordance with current the requirements of British Standards or clients’ requirements:
  • Attend emergency callouts:
  • Act as “out of hours” emergency call out engineer on a rota basis for F/A and security clients:
  • Ensure that the company supplied vehicle is kept in a clean and roadworthy condition:
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed correctly and accurately.

Security Engineer

Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Security Manager and Senior Security Engineer:
  • Installation of intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems:
  • Scheduled servicing of intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems:
  • Attend security emergency callouts:
  • Act as security call-out backup and advisor to the “on-call” engineer.
